On the road climbing toward Entoto, Addisu Gebeya ('the new market') is a lively commercial hub where locals shop for curtains, clothing, housewares and traditional garments in a warren of small malls and street stalls. Almost no tourists — which is exactly the appeal — and it pairs naturally with Shiro Meda and the Entoto road.
