St. George Gallery
Down the hill from the Sheraton, this woman-owned gallery pioneered high-end Ethiopian design over 25 years ago: hand-carved furniture, pottery from a women's cooperative, silk textiles, goat-skin paintings and fine art. It's as much a design museum as a shop — and the quality (and pricing) reflects it.
☀️ Local tip
Even if you're not buying furniture, it's the best single stop for a serious, packable gift — they can arrange shipping for big pieces.
